GYM RULES

01.

Always use your own Fob/Mobile to scan every time you visit Hawkers Hill Gym.  We monitor Fob/Mobile scan usage by CCTV to ensure the safety of our members. 

If your fob is lost or damaged, you must contact us immediately to deactivate the device. You will be charged for a new fob.

Any misuse may result in the cancellation of your membership.  For full details of our Fob Abuse Policy, see Terms & Conditions.

Induction sessions can be booked via the “Contact Us” page on the website, or by visiting the gym during staffed times.  A calendar showing these times is displayed at the front door.

For safety reasons, bags are not permitted onto the gym floor.  Correct attire must be worn when exercising i.e. suitable exercise clothing and the appropriate footwear. Clothing such as jeans, work wear, boots, flip-flops and sandals are not permitted.

Any member not wearing suitable attire may be asked to leave the Gym.

Members must ensure that weights are put back in their original place when finished, failure to do so may result in your membership being terminated.

Report any damage you find to staff, hawkershillgym@gmail.com or by using information found on the Contact Us page.

11.

Only Hawkers Hill Gym licensed Personal Trainers are permitted to train members in the Gym. Anyone else undertaking members’ training will be asked to leave the Gym immediately.

13.

Members are asked to only use the lockers for the duration of their training session. Lockers will be emptied at night and members items removed to lost property.

15.

Members must inform Hawkers Hill Gym of any change of contact details.  By accessing the gym and using the gym equipment members are deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions of membership.

Attend an induction if you are a wheelchair user or are under 18 years old.

On joining all members are offered a comprehensive induction on the use of the gym equipment, you are strongly advised to undertake this.  Hawkers Hill Gym will not accept liability for any personal injury claim if you use the gym equipment not having undertaken an induction from a qualified member of the Hawkers Hill Gym Staff.

If you are unsure how to use any of the equipment, you must seek advice from a qualified member of Hawkers Hill Gym Staff.

06.

You may not use the gym whilst under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, tranquilizers or any medication or other substance which may affect your ability to exercise safely. Hawkers Hill Gym reserves the right to remove you from the premises if it reasonably believes you are unfit to use the facilities.

08.

Please do not misuse the weights by dropping them on the floor.  Misuse may result in your membership being terminated.

10.

Any aggressive, abusive, anti-social or threatening behaviour towards staff or other members will result in immediate termination of membership.  Hawkers Hill Gym reserves the right to contact the Police if deemed necessary.

12.

Members are solely responsible for their own belongings whilst visiting Hawkers Hill Gym.  Hawkers Hill Gym accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property.

14.

Hawkers Hill Gym does not take responsibility for any items held in lost property.  Unclaimed items will be kept for one month, after which time they will be handed to the police or donated to charity.

16.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited in all areas of the gym. Any member found to be breach of this rule may have their membership terminated.

18.

Leave the premises before closing time.
